iCPA Welcomes University of San Jose Recoletos

The University of San Jose Recoletos formerly know as Colegio de San Jose - Recoletos a catholic private university in Cebu City founded in the year 1947 by the Augustinian Recollects.  This University has three campuses two are located in the different area in the Metro Cebu and the main campus at Corner P. Lopez and Magallanes Streets.

As years passed by the school expanded its operation in developing quality christian community-oriented education.  On November 28, 2998 the 52nd General Chapter held in Granada, Spain voted for the creation of a new Religious Province in the Philippines dedicated to St. Ezekiel Moreno, OAR.  The Recollect Philippine Province, where USJ-R belongs, now stands as the eight regional cluster of communities of the Order of Augustinian Recollect worldwide.

iCPA Welcomes University of Pangasinan

University of Pangasinan located in the City of Dagupan, Pangasinan started its operation in 1925 as the Dagupan Institute which offered elementary, secondary and vocational courses.  Founded by Dean Francisco Benitez of the University of the Philippines.

In the year 1950 the school assumed the name Dagupan Colleges, and the Graduate School added courses as well as review classes for Accounting, Nursing, Law and Civil Engineering in 1954 and in 1959 expanded their curricular offerings leading to degree courses like Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

In July 3, 1968 the college was granted to convert it into a University by the virtue of the University Charter by the Department of Education and in 2009 became a member of the PHINMA Education Network.

iCPA Welcomes University of Northern Philippines

The first and oldest State University in Northern Luzon older than the University of the Philippines by two years.  This university began as the Vigan High School in 1906 and in 1910 converted into a separate level school and was named Vigan Trade School.

University of Northern Philippines opened its high school in 1927 and produced its first graduates in 1931, when it evolved as the Ilocos Sur Trade School.  They were both in Vigan town.  Two of the buildings still exist one being used as a warehouse for a construction supply firm, the other is the location of the Vigan Trade Center.

In 1951 the Ilocos Sur Trade School became the Northern Luzon School of Arts and Trades (NLSAT) by virtue of Republic Act 547.  However, Republic Act 2700, or the General Appropriations Acts of 1960 converted it back to Ilocos Sur School of Arts and Trades (ISSAT).

Formerly known as Southern Luzon Polytechnic College a public non sectarian educational institution with eight campuses spread all over the Quezon province with main campus located at the Municipality of Lucban, Quezon province.   Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) had its beginnings starting as Lucban Municipal Junior High School by virtue of Municipal Resolution No. 5 passed in April 1964.

Sacred Heart College an educational institution located at Lucena City, Quezon Province.  The first catholic institution in Quezon founded on April 27, 1884. iCPA Welcome La Consolacion College Manila

Colegio de Nuestra Señora de la Consolacion now known as La Consolacion College Manila one of the private Catholic Institution in the University Belt of Manila that founded by His Excellency Msgr. Placido Chappele the Papal Nuncio in 1902 offered the first ten Filipino Augustinian Sisters a house at R. Hidalgo St., Quiapo near the Basilica of San Sebastian. Chapelle convinced the sisters, Agustinas Terciarias, to cease the operation of their asilo-colegio and to establish a defined school for women whose objective was to provide training and instruction to those intending to pass the civil service examination.

The school officially adopted La Consolacion College Manila as its name. In 2004, LCCM inaugurated the Gregor Mendel Science Center where the Research Center, Nursing Review Center, nursing and science laboratories, e-learning laboratories, etc., are to be found. Today, La Consolacion College Manila is composed of its College Department with its six schools Business and Accountancy, Arts and Sciences, Nursing, HRM and Tourism, Information Technology & Computer Studies, and Music and the Basic Education Department.

iCPA Welcomes Accounting students from Manila Central University


Formerly known as Escuela de Farmacia del Liceo de Manila is a private non-sectarian, non-stock educational institution located at EDSA, Caloocan City a pillar in health science and professional programs in the Philippines founded and directed in the year 1904 by Dr. Alejandro M. Albert. 

This Escuela de Farmacia del Liceo de Manila really started out in 1903 as a review class but per request of several students from the University of Santo Tomas was later on transformed into the Manila College of Pharmacy with Dr. Leon Ma. L. Guerrero and others due to the steady increase in enrollment.  This is first educational institution of its kind established and managed by Filipinos. Its success demonstrated the undoubted capacity and ability of the Filipinos managing their own affairs in the education field, especially then. Its initial organization was barely four years after the establishment of the Philippine education system.



Open and dedicated to give the best education for youth, the college maintained its leading position in the education field. Unfortunately, the Second World War closed its portals in 1941.

In 1949, the MCU inaugurated its 10-hectare campus in Caloocan City. The colleges of Optometry and Midwifery, and the High School and Kindergarten departments were opened. Expansion projects and development programs for the university, and individual colleges were continuously drawn to meet education demands and the objectives of the University.

Now MCU opened its doors to other graduate programs like College of Business Administration, Arts and Sciences, Computer Studies and other graduate study courses.

MPSPC a public state college located at Bontoc, Mountain province that is mandated to provide higher professional courses and other fields of studies.  Started out with 15 undergraduate curricular offerings with 720 enrollees in 1992 the college now offers 23 undergraduate and six graduate programs with an average enrollment of about 5,000 students per semester.
