iCPA Welcomes University of Pangasinan

University of Pangasinan located in the City of Dagupan, Pangasinan started its operation in 1925 as the Dagupan Institute which offered elementary, secondary and vocational courses.  Founded by Dean Francisco Benitez of the University of the Philippines.

In the year 1950 the school assumed the name Dagupan Colleges, and the Graduate School added courses as well as review classes for Accounting, Nursing, Law and Civil Engineering in 1954 and in 1959 expanded their curricular offerings leading to degree courses like Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

In July 3, 1968 the college was granted to convert it into a University by the virtue of the University Charter by the Department of Education and in 2009 became a member of the PHINMA Education Network.
