La Consolacion College Bacolod
Bacold City capital province of Negros Occidental and one of the most promising provinces in Western Visayas Region VI and the biggest contributor in the sugar industry in the Philippines and abroad, aside from being a center of culture and arts like the famous Maskara Festival that is being held every year on the third week of October. There are lots of great sceneries and tourist spots that you could explore.
But for our fellow Negrense's there is one thing that they really do give importance to and that is education and if we are talking about education the first thing that you can really rely on is La Consolacion College Bacolod for the reason that this College have been quite long enough in this kind of field.
History of this college goes way back in the year 1919 March 19 where it was first established by the group of Augustinian sisters with Sister Tomasa de La Sagrada as superior arrived in Bacolod and after a two year in Sibalon, Antique, Philippines where the presence of a Catholic School was strongly opposed by the Aglipayans in that time. History of this college if i would to describe it would really eat a lot of letters and words if we will go into every inch and details but to cut it short as decades past LCC's breakthrough really did opened up hopes and dreams for a brighter tomorrow for the Negrense's by providing new major course like Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Entrepreneurial Management, Management Information System (MIS), Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Industrial Design, Master of Educational Management, Master in Business Administration program, HRM and BSHRM.
